Engineering for Tower 9

Well #12 was acquired through the RDE Water System Purchase. It is located off of Tracker Road on Ashley Drive. It currently has a 250,000-gallon storage tank and booster pump station for water storage and pressure. It is an outdated system that currently requires constant maintenance and upkeep. Through the 2023 Water Masterplan, it was determined that a new 1-Million gallon composite water tower would be needed to improve reliability and storage capacity of the RDE system. Council approved a resolution on April 8th, allowing the City of Nixa to seek out engineering firms to design and oversee the construction of this new water tower. Further updates will be provided as this project moves forward.

The pricing includes purchasing and installation of the generators. On April 8th, the City Council approved the contract. The City of Nixa has since ordered the generators and are waiting for them to ship. An update will be provided when they are shipped and installed.
