Dear Nixa Neighbors,

Happy New Year! As we step into 2026, I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as your mayor and excited about what lies ahead for our community.

One of the things that makes Nixa truly special is you—our residents. Time and again, I’ve witnessed neighbors stepping up to help one another, volunteering for local causes, and working together to make our city better. That spirit of community is what sets Nixa apart, and it’s what will continue to drive us forward.

As we plan for Nixa’s future, your voice matters more than ever. The decisions we make at City Hall are strengthened when they reflect the priorities, concerns, and ideas of the people who call this place home. Whether it’s attending a council meeting, reaching out with questions, or sharing your perspective on city projects, your input helps us make better decisions for everyone.

I’m particularly excited to announce that we’ll soon begin developing our next strategic plan. This process will help us identify and prioritize what’s most important for our city over the next five years—and it will be guided by input from you, the citizens. This is your opportunity to help shape Nixa’s future. Whether you’ve lived here for decades or just moved to town, your perspective matters, and I encourage you to get involved.
