Nixa Utilities has been recognized with two awards from the American Public Power Association.

They earned a Diamond level Reliable Public Power Provider designation for providing reliable and safe electric service to Nixa while supporting workforce development and system improvements. This designation was only given to 105 of the nation’s 2000 public power utilities!

They also earned a Diamond designation for 2025 for the Safety Awards of Excellence. This prestigious recognition reflects our utility team’s steadfast commitment to protecting our workforce and our exemplary leadership within the public power community. Diamond is the highest level awarded.
