The proposed project will consist of a new regional lift station to replace an aging existing station with a new, larger lift station capable of serving 1,700+ acres of land including existing and future commercial, residential, mixed, and industrial land uses.

The proposed West Regional Lift Station is a sanitary sewer pumping station consisting of three submersible pumps, three precast concrete wetwells, valve boxes and electric controls. The lift station will have a back-up generator with an automatic transfer switch. The site will have an asphalt driveway from Gooch Road to the lift station site with parking and turn-around areas for maintenance vehicles. A water service line will be provided from an existing water main on Gooch Road to the lift station site.

A proposed 15″ diameter gravity sewer main along with precast concrete manholes will be provided from the existing Oakmont Lift Station flowing to the West Regional Lift Station which will allow the Oakmont Lift Station to be taken offline. A diversion structure will be constructed at the Oakmont Lift Station to allow flow to be diverted into the Oakmont Lift Station in emergency situations.

A proposed 12″ diameter force main will be provided from the West Regional Lift Station to an existing manhole near West Cambridge Avenue.
