Nixa street department staff began mosquito fogging this year on Monday, June 14th as part of our annual summer mosquito abatement. The fogging truck will drive designated routes Mon-Thur. 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Instead of an annual Citywide Clean-up Day, Nixa residents may now leave one large trash item at the curb each week in addition to their normal trash collection.
The City of Nixa street department is installing an ADA compliant, signalized crosswalk at the intersection of Main St. and Aldersgate Dr. The completion date is scheduled for September 2021.
