Nixa native Courtney Frerichs will represent the USA in the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. She is scheduled to run the 3,000 meter steeplechase on Saturday, July 31. Go Eagles!
Instead of an annual Citywide Clean-up Day, Nixa residents may now leave one large trash item at the curb each week in addition to their normal trash collection.

Installation of new crosswalk
The City of Nixa street department is installing an ADA compliant, signalized crosswalk at the intersection of Main St. and Aldersgate Dr. The completion date is scheduled for September 2021.
