In the best interest of the health and safety of our community, the Nixa Police Department is implementing precautionary measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result the department will not be doing in person presentations to the public at this time.
Thank you for understanding and for doing your part to help us prevent COVID-19 in our community by practicing social distancing and limiting in-person contact as much as possible.
McGruff the Crime Dog wants you to know that police can’t fight crime alone – crime prevention is everybody’s business and everyone can help “Take a Bite Out of Crime.”
Our Crime Prevention Unit provides information, presentation and support to the community to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
Officer's are trained to provide a host of services such as lighting surveys, Crime prevention through Environmental Design assessments, Workplace violence, Neighborhood Watch organizations and Active Shooter Response training.
