The entire project, including the road expansion, is scheduled to be completed by November 1, 2023.
This is a combination of two projects;
the expansion of the roundabout at Northview Rd. and Gregg Rd.
and the widening of Northview Rd. from Tractor Supply in Nixa to just west of Old Wilderness Rd., which will include a new intersection and turn lanes to Old Wilderness.

Northview Rd. Closed at Old Wilderness Beginning Nov. 13th
Drivers in Nixa should prepare to use alternate routes beginning November 13 if using Northview Rd. to the west of Tractor Supply. This closure is for the Northview Road Improvement Project which will widen the road to 3 lanes between Old Wilderness Rd and Kenneth St. This section of Northview may be closed for up to 30 consecutive days while work is performed by the contractor.
The Nixa Public Schools bus barn and local emergency services have been notified so they can plan alternate routes accordingly during the closure.
Residents along Foxwood Drive will be allowed access to and from their residences during construction, but they should expect the possibility of delays when work is being performed.
Construction on this project will begin Friday with milling of the current road surface, despite temporary lane closures with flaggers, the road will remain open until Monday, November 13th.

A construction contract has been awarded to Blevins Asphalt for the expansion of the roundabout. Expect multiple road closures. This is scheduled to be completed by August 15th.
