The City of Nixa Recycle Center is open to all residents of the City of Nixa and is not available for use by commercial businesses.

The Center is open from 8:00am to 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday, with no loads accepted after 4:15 PM. The center is closed on designated holidays and Sundays.

Those that live outside the City of Nixa boundaries but still have a Nixa telephone prefix of 724 or 725 may obtain a permit to use the facility at the Utility Office. Such a permit costs $36 a year and entitles the holder to limited use of the recycling facilities. Permit holders will not have access to the yard waste area.
