The Nixa Police Department is an exceptional organization, which promotes individual excellence through unified training and team management. It is our vision that other police agencies will review and model themselves after the benchmarks that we establish within our professional standards and operational procedures. It is our desire that perceived problems will become realized opportunities. Ultimately, we know that the team succeeds by working together to identify and solve community-related issues for the betterment of all citizens.

As our city continues to experience phenomenal growth, the Nixa Police Department will obviously face an increase in our daily calls for service, which will eventually require the addition of more uniformed staff; however, our goal is to maintain the highest level of performance within the staff allocated by the City’s Board of Aldermen.

I’ll remind you that Nixa is a wonderful place to live, work and visit. It is our job to maintain this quality of life and exceed all of your expectations.
