Meet the Safe BASE Staff

**Espy Safe BASE Staff**
	Chelsie started five years ago as a Program Aide, working her way to Assistant Director and now she's the Site Director for both Espy and Mathews Safe BASE. She and her husband, Jake are the proud parents of a 6 month old boxer, Boomer!
	At 21, Phil is the youngest of four Tyson boys. After graduating from Parkview High School, he started college as a business major, however, working with Safe BASE children changed his heart and now he is an education major. In his spare time, Phil loves to play music and teaches beginning guitar to Safe BASE children.
	Samatha (known as Sam to everyone) is currently attending OTC, pursuing a nursing degree, preferably pediatrics. She is a graduate of Nixa High School. In the summer, she loves to hang out by the water, whether it be the lake, beach or pool. In the winter, she loves the snow. She does watch a football game or two during her busy schedule!
	Sue loves to get up early to start the day, so working at Safe BASE mornings is a natural for her. She loves working with children and watching basketball. Sue has been with Safe BASE for 6 years.

Mathews Safe BASE Staff

kristi

Besides going to school full time, Kristi is our Assistant Director at Mathews. She loves to work with the children and it is apparent to all those who observe her interactions at Safe BASE. To occupy her spare time, Kristi loves to
fish and hunt and will take on all comers in basketball. Unfortunately, the Houston Astros are her favorite baseball team.

amanda

Amanda loves to make a difference; that's why she works at Safe BASE! She is currently enrolled at OTC and plansto major in psychology with a minor in anatomy. Her eventual goal is to work for the FBI. Amanda came to us from the Boys & Girls Clubs in Arizona and has worked with children and youth for about four years.

rebekah

Rebekah is wrapping up her OTC schooling and plans to major in a Christian ministry. She loves to play tennis and is active in her church.
