Students will weave their own basket during this class and get a brief history lesson on oak baskets in the Ozarks. The class will take place on August 28th from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the Nixa Community Center. Registration is open to anyone age 16 and over. Registration will take place from August 1st through August 20th and the cost is $55.00 for residents and $66.00 for non-residents.
September 6 - Nixa Area Community Fest & Doggie Dive-InThe Parks Department will once again host the Nixa Area Community Fest on September 6th! We'll kick off the day with a Fun Run at 9:00 AM and end with the annual Doggie Dive-In. For more information see the August Edition of The Center News. Teen Night, September 24th!
