Robert Wilson
Robert and his family have lived in Nixa since 2004. He has a wife of 20 years, and two boys in the Nixa schools. Robert has worked in municipal public works for the past 30 years, and currently is employed as an Engineering Technician with the City of Republic, which recently passed a Home Rule Charter itself.“I feel that every Nixa resident should be supportive of the Home Rule Charter as it would allow citizens more involvement in local government and lessen the control from the state.
The Home Rule Charter gives each individual the ability to initiate an effort to introduce a new ordinance or repeal an existing one. They will also hold greater accountability over their elected officials. Under the current form of government, these two rights do not exist.”
