Tom Maher
Tom Maher has lived in Nixa for 26 years. He currently is the manager of Meeks Building Center in Nixa, were he has worked for 27 years. Tom also served as an Alderman for the City of Nixa from 1994-2004. He is currently on the board of Greater Springfield Home Builders Association and a past scoutmaster and assistant scoutmaster of Troop 200 Boy Scouts. Tom has been married to his wife Cheryl for 32 years and is the father of 2.
“I feel that it would be greatly beneficial for the City of Nixa to adopt the Home Rule Charter form of Government. Citizens of Nixa can have more of a voice in their government through a greater ability to petition, to put an issue on the ballot and to recall their representatives.”
