Karen Keever
 Karen Cawley-Keever was born and raised in the
suburbs of Chicago. Her background is varied in
the legal field and includes working as a judge’s
secretary in a large Circuit Court in Illinois, Patent
Assistant and Senior Executive Legal Assistant
for a large global medical supply company.
She had been visiting friends and family in the Nixa area since 1980 and
has watched in astonishment as The Village of Nixa has grown from a
small group of homes, gas station and a bowling alley to the City of
Nixa. Being a Missouri “wanna be” for 25 years, she and her daughter
moved to Nixa in 2006.“A properly drafted “Home Rule Charter”
would benefit the residents of Nixa.”
