Jay Jones
Jay Jones has lived in Nixa for 5 years. He grew up in Springfield and attended Springfield Public Schools. He has been married for 10 years and has 2 children. He moved to Nixa from Springfield because of the community and public schools. He has a bachelors degree in business from Baker University and a masters degree in business administration from Missouri State University. Mr. Jones currently runs and owns an insurance agency.
“My understanding of Home Rule is that it give more control to the local city government and the citizens of the community. Meaning that we will not have to go to or follow state legislature to get certain things approved such as relief from natural disasters and the number of elected
officials.”
