Chandler Johnston
Chandler Johnston is a proud, 23-year resident of
Nixa, Missouri. She is employed by Guaranty
Bank as a Corporate Services Account Manager for
Christian County and is actively involved in the
local Nixa business community. Chandler’s interest
and involvement with the community extends
far beyond her job and she is currently an Executive
Board Member for the Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce. Additionally,
she chaired the 2008 Annual Nixpo event, co-chairs the Chamber
Membership Committee and participates in the local Adopt-A-Class
program. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Nixa Community
Foundation.
Chandler is grateful to have the opportunity to serve as a candidate for
the Home Rule Charter Commission. She sees the charter as a way to
allocate more power to the citizens of Nixa, giving them the rights to
propose an ordinance, repeal existing ordinances, file initiatives and
referendums, or recall legislators.
