Mayor and Board of Aldermen
The Public is invited to all meetings. If you would like to speak on a subject, contact the City Clerk at 417-725-3785 for procedures. You are welcome to also contact the Mayor or your Aldermen below to voice a concern or appreciation.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen are elected to represent the citizens of Nixa. They are elected for 2-year terms. Each ward has two representatives and they are up for election in alternate 2-year terms.
If you aren't sure who your alderman is, check the Voting Ward Map . You can register to vote at Nixa City Hall at 715 W. Mt. Vernon, Nixa Schools, and the Christian County Clerk Office at the Christian County Courthouse in Ozark. Your Aldermen are your voice for implementing ordinances and laws.
